what-happened

Invention NoveltyHQ ran its first 30-day founder hacker house in bangalore from june 16 to july 15, 2026. sixteen builders lived in one villa, worked full-time, ate dinner together, and ended on a public demo.

that is the whole product. not a conference stretched across a month. not a luxury coliving brand. a filtered room with a clock.

the first house had hardware, agents, and security in the same building at the same time. vena, thetalab, svmp, kroda, cortex, preview, walkins, wearsynapse, klave labs, and sentyn sat in one villa. the collisions were the point.

we are not going to invent metrics for how "successful" that was. the honest version is simpler: the format held. people shipped in public. the house was worth repeating.

cohort 2 is the same lock-in: 12 to 16 builders, one villa in bangalore, thirty days, communal dinners, mentor reviews when they help, and a public demo at the end.

the winter 2026–27 window is the next one. exact dates are confirmed with accepted builders so the villa, travel, and demo day stay aligned. the application filter does not change.
